Welcome to Akribis Scientific Ltd. PBSC Stainless Steel Clean Room Transfer Hatch. Hatch shells manufactured from 1.5mm thick satin polished stainless steel of double skin construction. The 2mm thick fixed and loose flanges of stainless steel seal the unit to wall finishes and are beveled on all external edges and radiuses on all corners. Vulcanised grade SE60 extruded silicone rubber section is bonded to the inner edges to form a continuous pressure door seal.

Doors 10mm thick stainless steel. The hinges are a PBSC steel door hinge which is fixed inside the door leaf with counter sunk screws.

The hatch can be supported within one end of the wall and the protruding body of the hatch supported on a bench top. If there is no bench top stainless steel support goal post legs are supplied (240 grit finish welded box section with adjustable feet for levelling the hatch during installation). Interlocking The doors are mechanically interlocked to prevent both doors being open simultaneously. The mechanical components of the interlock system are positioned between the two skins of the hatch cabinet for tamper resistance.
